History

Central Chinese Christian Church (CCCC-CV) began its history with a vision to plant a Cantonese speaking Church in the Castro Valley area. Using the Fellowship Hall of a Church on Stanton Avenue in Castro Valley, CCCC-CV held its first service on March 12, 2000. It was truly a blessing from God when our Church found its permanent home on July 2, 2000 at its current site at 18381 Lake Chabot Road.

CCCC-CV was the result of a Church planting effort by Rev. John Tsang, the president of Overseas Theological Seminary in San Jose.

At CCCC-CV, you will find real people who face struggles and triumph together; people who don’t have all the answers, but are seeking them from God on a daily basis. You will find support and love. There is laughter here, sometimes sadness, but most of all, there is always wonder and awe at what God is doing.
